Trojan.ZLoader

Trojan.ZLoader is Malwarebytes’ detection name for a family of banking Trojans that specialize in stealing confidential, mostly financial, information from affected systems. The Z in the name comes from Zeus, since ZLoader was derived from the Zeus banking Trojan.

Trojan.ZLoader uses several ways of distribution, including botnets and Trojan droppers. It also acts as a malware delivery system for other malware.

How to remove Trojan.ZLoader with the Malwarebytes Nebula console

You can use the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Nebula console to scan endpoints.

Choose the Scan + Quarantine option. Afterwards you can check the Detections pageto see which threats were found.

On the Quarantine pageyou can see which threats were quarantined and restore them if necessary.

Malwarebytes can remove Trojan.ZLoader without further user interaction.

1. Please download Malwarebytesto your desktop.
2. Double-click MBSetup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
3. When your Malwarebytes for Windows installation completes, the program opens to the Welcome to Malwarebytes screen.
4. Click on the Get started button.
5. Click Scan to start a Threat Scan.
6. Click Quarantine to remove the found threats.
7. Reboot the system if prompted to complete the removal process.

However, it is recommended that users determine what information was stolen, so they can mitigate further losses due to the security breach.
